This is a French oak notary cabinet dating back to the late 19th century. 
In the past it was used by notaries/solicitors as part of their profession.
This piece has carved flaps on each side to lock the doors and secure the content.
The inclined flap features a storage compartment, that can be locked.
Crafted in oak this cabinet is in good antique condition.
